Cafe Brauer is where wedding dreams come true. I’ve had the pleasure of working at Cafe Brauer four times in 2016, and you better believe I’ll be back in 2017! The space is filled with charm and character that you can’t find anywhere else. I had the pleasure of meeting Annie and Ryan earlier this year and literally jumped for joy when they hired me to be their wedding photographer. These two are the sweetest couple I have ever met.

Formal and fun. That’s the vision Jackie and Steve had for their winter Cafe Brauer wedding, and that mission was accomplished. We had a blast working with these two! Who knew February would end up being one of our favorite months of wedding season?! The morning began…

Cafe Brauer has quickly become one of my most photographed venues in Chicago, and I don’t think I’ll ever tire of it. The venue is one of a kind and every time I’ve worked here, the space has been transformed in a completely unique way. I had been looking forward to Liz and John’s wedding all year and it definitely ended up being one of my favorite weddings of 2017; snow, rain and all. 

This wedding was utter perfection from start to finish. We were in love with every little detail from this Cafe Brauer celebration. Lindsay and Tyler met each other on the rooftop of the Public, with the beautiful city of Chicago gleaming in the distance. The moment couldn’t have been more magical. From there, we enjoyed the sunshine and fall weather with the entire wedding party as we roamed the grounds of Lincoln Park for pictures. The ceremony and reception design by Liven it Up Events and Stems was a work of art. Everything from the draping, to the chandeliers, to the flowers and candlelight exuded glamour and sophistication. After the “I Do’s”, guests enjoyed a night of dinner, drinks and dancing. We had the best time photographing Lindsay and Tyler’s wedding. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart! The moment I met Jenni and Andy, I knew I was going to love working with them. Getting to know them throughout their engagement made me all the more excited for their beautiful wedding day at Cafe Brauer. Cafe Brauer is by far one of my favorite Chicago wedding venues. And lucky me, I get to photograph 3 more wedding stories here this year!
