Beautiful photographs aren't only about beautiful places. They're about knowing how to use light, recognizing the moments that matter, and understanding when to step in and when to step back. It's the kind of quiet experience that helps everything feel effortless.

Although the photographs feel candid, very little is left to chance. I'll quietly guide you throughout the session—where to walk, when to slow down, when to look at each other, and when to simply keep talking. It never feels like performing for the camera, but there's intention behind every photograph.
We'll choose places and activities that make sense for you. Maybe that's a bookstore, a favorite coffee shop, an evening at the conservatory, or simply wandering somewhere beautiful together. Nothing overly staged, nothing forced. Just the two of you, spending time together in a way that feels natural.

That's why every session is thoughtfully designed from the very beginning, blending careful planning, quiet direction, and nearly two decades of experience into something that feels completely effortless once we're together.

What makes an engagement session with you different?
No two relationships feel exactly the same, so I don't think engagement sessions should either. Instead of simply choosing a pretty location and showing up with a camera, we'll create something that feels true to the two of you.
Maybe that's coffee and wandering your favorite neighborhood. Maybe it's sunrise along the lake or cocktails before sunset. Whatever we choose, the goal is the same: to create space where you can stop thinking about having your picture taken and simply enjoy being together.
I'll guide and direct you throughout the session, but my favorite photographs almost always happen in between. More than anything, I want you to look back at these photos years from now and recognize yourselves.
We don't know where to take our engagement photos. Can you help with that?
Absolutely. Choosing the right location is one of my favorite parts of the process!
We'll start by talking about what you're naturally drawn to, then I'll recommend places that fit that feeling. Sometimes the perfect location is somewhere meaningful. Sometimes it's simply somewhere with beautiful light and room to slow down.
More than anything, I want you to leave feeling like the session could only have happened there because it could only have happened with the two of you.
How much do engagement sessions cost?
Engagement sessions begin at $1,200, with most couples choosing between my Petite and Signature experiences depending on how they'd like to spend the session.
Every collection includes personalized planning, wardrobe guidance, professionally edited images, and personal printing rights. If you're dreaming up something a little different, I'm always happy to create a custom experience together.
