Helicopters, sea cliffs, puppies, oh my! I’ve worked with hundreds of couples over these last 10+ years, but it’s always extra special when I get to photograph my friends. I’ve been flying from coast to coast to coast to coast this year and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I started 2019 watching the […]
Meet Connie and Josh. I had the pleasure of capturing their love in one of their favorite places. It started off as a beautiful evening, and ending with a lightning storm overhead, but we had fun the whole way through. They’ll be tying the knot in a few weeks, and I think it’s safe to […]
Oh, California. I love you and your golden rays of sunshine! This year has been a busy travel year for me, and I’ve had plenty of fun photo shoot destinations along the way. This may surprise some people, but my most photographed client resides in Southern California. They’ve hired me twice in Chicago and four […]
We live in a city with no shortage of gardens, parks, and public lakefront. Chicago is truly the gem in that way which makes it all the more fun to photograph. Kelly and Ryan are getting married later this year at Cafe Brauer. For their engagement photos, they wanted a romantic, city garden feel, so […]
Mary & Pat Newlywed Photos Chicago, IL My favorite bridge in Chicago also happens to be the bridge where it always smells like chocolate. Coincidence? I think not. Mary and Pat were married late May and we celebrated with a special “newlywed” portrait session a week later. Truth be told, we were hoping to take […]
Chicago, your winters may be cold, but boy are you pretty. Elizabeth and Ashish wanted a winter engagement session, so we crafted a plan tailored around just that. Elizabeth’s bright red coat was the perfect winter engagement session accessory.
Sunrise sessions in the fall are my favorite! The city is quiet and calm, and you practically have the whole place to yourselves. Morganne and Aaron got up early with me this last weekend to take advantage of the picture-perfect day in Chicago. The fall colors have been on fire these last few weeks and I can’t get enough of them!
This engagement session was pure magic. The combination of golden sunshine, the toasted fall colors, a woodland setting, and Julie and Eric’s smiling faces created the most beautiful photos. I adore these two and am thrilled to be photographing their wedding day next spring. I can’t wait to do this all again with you guys in May!
Claire and Adam met living in the same Wicker Park apartment building. Claire needed help opening a bottle of champagne. Adam saved the day and has been opening champagne bottles for Claire ever since. To start this session, we went back to the spot where it all began, with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, of course.
Forget about those fall sweaters and Pumpkin Spiced Lattes for a few minutes and feast your eyes on this end-of-summer engagement session…
