If you feel drawn to the candid work you see here, we may be a good fit. I’d love to connect and hear more about your celebration in Chicago or afar.

Timeless Aesthetic

Composed with restraint and guided by natural light, the imagery favors clarity over trend. The result is work that feels elegant, enduring, and just as meaningful decades from now.

Unscripted Moments

Real connection takes priority over performance. From quiet glances to unfiltered laughter, the focus remains on capturing what naturally happens — not recreating what never did.

A steady, unobtrusive approach that allows the day to unfold naturally. By building trust early and moving through the celebration with intention, clients remain fully present while every meaningful candid moment is thoughtfully documented.

Calm, Attentive Presence

At the heart of every celebration are the people gathered to share it. With nearly two decades of experience guiding couples through weddings of every scale, my approach remains steady and intentional, protecting what matters most while creating photographs that endure.

The Wedding Photography Experience

Frequently Asked Questions

How do we know if we’re a good fit?

The couples who connect most with me usually care less about staging a spectacle and more about how the day actually feels. They’re thoughtful about the people they’ve invited and want candid photographs that reflect the real atmosphere of it all — the quiet, the joy, the in-between moments that end up meaning the most.

If you’re drawn to images that feel honest, relaxed, and composed without being overly arranged, we’ll likely settle into an easy rhythm together.

How involved are you throughout the wedding day?

I’ll guide when it’s helpful — especially during portraits — but I’m not interested in turning your wedding into a photoshoot. Once the day is moving, I’m paying attention so you don’t have to.

You get to be in it. Laughing, hugging, tearing up, having that second glass of champagne. I’ll quietly shape what’s happening into photographs that feel natural and effortless.

What does it look like to work together from inquiry to delivery?

We start with a conversation. I want to hear what you’re planning, what you care about, and what you hope to remember years from now. From there, everything unfolds pretty seamlessly — I coordinate closely with you, your planner and creative team so photography feels integrated, not intrusive.

After the wedding, you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated gallery, edited with care and restraint. When you’re ready, we’ll design an album that lets the story live somewhere beyond a screen.

What kind of experience can we expect on the day itself?

After nearly two decades of photographing weddings in Chicago and around the world, very little feels surprising anymore — timelines shift, weather turns, family dynamics show up — and that’s okay. My role is to move through all of it with steadiness and discretion so you never feel the weight of those details.

The goal is simple: you stay present. I’ll handle the rest.

Engagements

An afternoon in Chicago. A quiet walk by the Lake Michigan. The kind of laughter that sneaks up on you when no one is watching. Engagement sessions are where we slow down, get comfortable, and begin telling your story before the wedding day ever arrives. Easy direction, natural movement, nothing forced.

If this feels like the way you hope your wedding will be remembered, we should talk.
