She’s from northern British Columbia. He’s from New Jersey. They met and fell in love in Chicago and that’s exactly where they returned for their extra special downtown Chicago engagement session.

Navi and Rohan flew in from the East Coast the morning of their shoot and we planned to move forward with their session, rain or shine. On a day that had no rain in the forecast, it started pouring rain 2 hours before our shoot.

We replanned all locations for the weather, but like magic, the rain came to a stop the second I picked them up from their hotel. It barely rained a drop on us and I’m so glad we were able to stick to this couple’s original vision for their photos.

Their downtown Chicago engagement session photographed like a dream. Because of the rain, it felt like we had the whole city to ourselves.

Navi looked like absolute royalty in her BCBG gown (you can find the exact dress through this link) and people complimented her left and right. These two were both such pros. You can’t even tell how cold it was outside that day.
