Taylor and Nathan’s wedding day was beautiful in every way. The morning began with sunshine, Jenny Yoo dresses, beautiful blooms, and one of the most gorgeous wedding dresses I have seen. Taylor and Nathan each got ready at the Armour House, where they would later be dancing the night away with friends and family members. I loved every little corner of this magical place. Taylor and Nathan were wed at a family church. Friends and family applauded as the couple became husband and wife. We returned to the Armour House for pictures with the wedding party. There was no shortage of pretty spots for pictures. I could have explored the grounds all day! Afterward, the bride, groom and wedding party joined cocktail hour in the garden and mingled with guests. Meanwhile, candles were being lit inside the beautiful reception room.

I am crushing all over this wedding! Laura, John and their families are the most warm and kind people we have ever met. Their wedding day was filled with heartwarming and sentimental moments throughout; Aimee and I enjoyed photographing every minute of it. Bonus points: There were more than a few familiar and friendly faces of former Artistrie Co. couples in the crowd – Always a treat!

Where do I even begin? Catelyn and Bryan’s wedding at Chicago Illuminating Company was one of my favorites so far this summer! Catelyn and Bryan’s love story began at a River North bar with a red, white and blue cocktail, so a Fourth of July holiday wedding seemed like it was predetermined. Getting married on her favorite holiday and her parent’s wedding anniversary made the celebration all the more special.

The moment I met Jenni and Andy, I knew I was going to love working with them. Getting to know them throughout their engagement made me all the more excited for their beautiful wedding day at Cafe Brauer. Cafe Brauer is by far one of my favorite Chicago wedding venues. And lucky me, I get to photograph 3 more wedding stories here this year!

#ThrowbackThursday to Sara and Mike’s beyond beautiful wedding at Gallery 1028 in Chicago…

Every year, I visit my favorite little piece of heaven: Arizona. I love everything about the desert: the mountains, the golden color palette, the cactus, the sunshine, and most importantly, the spicy margs! That’s why I was beyond thrilled to hear from Krista and Matt about photographing their Scottsdale, Arizona wedding day! Aimee and I were SO in love, in fact, we’ve been dreaming about returning ever since we left. Hint, hint: We really want to photograph more Arizona weddings! So call us. 😉

Ashley and Dave’s February wedding day was greeted by warm weather and sunshine, something that made THIS Chicago girl very happy. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day to kick off our first 2016 wedding…

Dea and Sai’s Prairie Production wedding had me smiling over and over again. The day was filled with hugs, smiles, laughter and lots of love. I loved working with these two for their urban engagement session, and have been looking forward to the wedding day ever since. With coordination by LOLA Event Productions, flowers by Avant Gardenia and catering by Paramount Events, I knew it would be a picture-perfect celebration!

Allie and Andy have a love story that’s meant for the movies and novels. Living almost 4,000 miles apart, they may have never met if Andy hadn’t decided to run the Chicago Marathon last year. Allie, from Chicago, and Andy, from London, instantly sparked when they met that day. They had an incredible first date that ended at the Signature Room of the John Hancock building. A year later, they would become husband and wife.

I’ve known Catie since our band-nerd days at Willowbrook High School, so it was extra special to be a part of her day. I met Catie in her hotel room as she began getting ready to see her groom, Jon. The chilly morning began with sparkly Kate Spade heels, dahlias galore, and the most beautiful champagne colored wedding dress I’ve seen. Jon and Catie met each other outside of the barns of Danada House and had a special, private moment together.
