I am crushing all over this wedding! Laura, John and their families are the most warm and kind people we have ever met. Their wedding day was filled with heartwarming and sentimental moments throughout; Aimee and I enjoyed photographing every minute of it. Bonus points: There were more than a few familiar and friendly faces of former Artistrie Co. couples in the crowd – Always a treat!
Stars were found throughout the day to honor Laura’s late brother. The girls each wore a star bracelet, and in lieu of boutonnieres, the men wore star pins on their lapels, keeping JB close to their hearts. Family and friends gathered at St. Cletus Parish in La Grange for Laura and John’s traditional wedding ceremony. The church roared in applause as the couple exchanged their first kiss as husband and wife. After the ceremony, Aimee and I and our friends at Wedding Masterpiece Films took our wedding party to a sun drenched field that was what photographer dreams are made of. These wedding portraits are some of my favorite throughout the season, and it totally helped that I had my cheering squad (aka bridesmaids) there making Laura and John smile and laugh together even more. Afterwards, guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio of Oak Brook Hills Resort. The reception was filled with beautiful flowers by Avant Gardenia, dinner, drinks, heartfelt toasts and a whole lot of dancing! Entourage kept everyone on the dance floor and we loved the energy throughout. Thank you Laura and John for such a special day! Enjoy these photos. 🙂
