Meredith and Matt’s wedding photographed like a dream and we could not have been more thrilled to be a part of it. The rainy/snowy/cold November day began at the Gwen Hotel as the bride and groom finished preparations for their wedding ceremony. The couple opted for tradition and saw each other for the first time that day as Meredith walked down the gorgeous aisle at St. Clement’s.

This fall Artifact Events wedding was a dream. I’ve been lucky to work with so many amazing couples all year long, and Jori and Chris were no exception. I’ve been excited to photograph their wedding day since I met with them last year and it was just as beautiful as I had imagined. The day began along the Chicago Riverfront, detoured to my favorite photo spot: Montrose Harbor, and ended at Artifact Events for an incredible celebration. Well, you know what they say, “When in Michigan…” Ever since my destination Arizona engagement session, I’ve been wanting to integrate more exotic landscapes into my work. With Michigan so close to Chicago, I decided that a Michigan Dunes session was in order. Lucky for me, Keara and David were willing to wake up with the sunrise the day after their wedding in Benton Harbor and do a special “after” session at Warren Dunes State Park.

This wedding was a dream! We had the absolute pleasure of returning to the stunning Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona earlier this month and could not have been more excited about it.

So excited to be sharing this Ivy Room wedding today! I had been looking forward to Carrie and Pat’s wedding day ever since we worked together last fall for their engagement session. The day began at a private estate in Lincoln Park where the couple and their friends and family got ready together.

This wedding was utter perfection from start to finish. We were in love with every little detail from this Cafe Brauer celebration. Lindsay and Tyler met each other on the rooftop of the Public, with the beautiful city of Chicago gleaming in the distance. The moment couldn’t have been more magical. From there, we enjoyed the sunshine and fall weather with the entire wedding party as we roamed the grounds of Lincoln Park for pictures. The ceremony and reception design by Liven it Up Events and Stems was a work of art. Everything from the draping, to the chandeliers, to the flowers and candlelight exuded glamour and sophistication. After the “I Do’s”, guests enjoyed a night of dinner, drinks and dancing. We had the best time photographing Lindsay and Tyler’s wedding. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart! What a special wedding! This New England beauty is easily a favorite of the year. Emmalee and I traveled to Boston, MA for Lisa and Matt’s countryside wedding celebration. It was my first time to the Boston area and I have to say I loved it. I can’t wait to come back to eat more lobster and crab, finish walking the Freedom Trail, and devour more Mike’s Cannolis. Yum!

After a beautiful ceremony and a fun time spent around town with their wedding party, we arrived to one of my favorite Chicago wedding venues, Galleria Marchetti. I’m a sucker for anything outdoors and tented, and this venue fits the bill perfectly in the busyness of the city. The decor featured neutral hues, metallics, and lush greenery throughout. I loved the light and airy style. It was beautiful! Guests enjoyed champagne and cocktails, a delicious dinner, followed by a dancing and sparklers throughout the evening.
