I booked my first wedding client in 2007. I was a college student and I met them at a Caribou Coffee and I presented my portfolio via a 3 ring binder. I didn’t have a website. I didn’t have a business name. Honestly, I don’t even remember how they found me. But they liked me, […]
It’s been said in thousands of ways, but this is a CRAZY time. A heartfelt thanks to so many of you who have reached out and asked how my clients and I are doing. It’s true. The wedding industry (along with so many other industries) has been upheaved. I wanted to check in and update […]
It’s that time of year when I’m in full on booking mode for the upcoming wedding season. It’s always exciting to meet with the people I’ll be working closely with in the upcoming year! To My Younger Self, I’m getting ready to turn 33. Another year around the sun. As I sit here, I’m feeling grateful for the woman I’ve become, and I owe that to you. You are one TOUGH cookie. You’re so many things that I still am today: strong and weird, silly and emotional, stubborn […]
After a busy end to 2017, it’s been SO great having some R&R time these last 3 months. I thought I’d check in on the personal homefront and share what I’ve been up to!
1) We LOVE to travel. While we are based in Chicago, our passports are ready to take us anywhere. PS – We especially love the desert and are currently waiving travel fees for any US wedding that is the epitome of the desert, mountains and sunshine…
There are two business anniversaries that I celebrate each year: my first day as a fully self employed business owner, and the day I became Artistrie Co.
Exactly two years ago today, I released the new brand and vision for my photography company, and I haven’t looked back since. Rebranding my business into “Artistrie Co.” is still one of the best business decisions I have ever made.
