Dior cape dresses and romantic after wedding portrait sessions forever and ever.

A few weeks after their wedding celebration, Irene and Howard hired me to take wedding portraits of the two of them downtown Chicago.

They dressed in their original wedding attire and met me downtown on a summer evening. To say I’m obsessed with Irene’s Dior Cape dress would be an understatement. I mean, look at it!

We began taking their wedding portraits at the iconic Rookery Building in Chicago’s financial district and then explored the Riverwalk and some of my favorite downtown vistas. Naturally, we ended their session with champagne along the lakefront to take in the summer sunset lighting and Chicago skyline views.

There is so much love and joy between these two. I had an absolute blast taking these portraits for them.
