Not many people can say they met standing ON Wrigley Field, but that’s exactly how Angie and Alex’s story began. Alex, who works for the Cubs, met Angie at a corporate event hosted at the friendly confines and they both agree that it was love at first sight. When it came to planning their engagement session, there was only one obvious choice for the location: Wrigley Field.
I can’t get enough of these two! I had a blast working with Dominique and Alan for their engagement session. It was a beautiful summer evening spent in the west loop and downtown. We incorporated several of my favorite things: West Loop charm, a gorgeous ivy covered wall, my favorite city bridge and Jenny Yoo and Anthropologie fashions galore.
This year, I’m making it a goal to blog more photos of the finished products of my client’s wedding albums. If you’ve already worked with me, you know I get PRETTY excited about designing and printing wedding albums. It’s probably not a surprise that Lindsay and Tyler’s wedding day was one of my favorites. Ever.
Last month, I was lucky enough to photograph Andrew’s proposal to Jen with the most stunning Chicago setting as the backdrop. Despite a weather forecast filled with rain and thunderstorms, the clouds parted ways as Andrew walked with Jen along the lakeshore. That’s a good sign if I’ve ever seen one! Jen’s reaction was priceless as Andrew got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The moment was such a joy to witness and photograph! Congratulations again you too. Wishing you all the best!
When Sara and Mike told me they wanted to celebrate their 10 year dating anniversary with a photo shoot, I could not have been more excited to work with them again! These two will be celebrating their 5 year wedding anniversary later this year, and it was so much fun recreating some of the magic from their engagement and wedding day portraits.
