We live in a city with no shortage of gardens, parks, and public lakefront. Chicago is truly the gem in that way which makes it all the more fun to photograph.

Kelly and Ryan are getting married later this year at Cafe Brauer. For their engagement photos, they wanted a romantic, city garden feel, so we took a stroll through all the beautiful gardens nestled along Michigan Avenue. As a photographer, I certainly have my favorite gardens, but it was refreshing photographing places I haven’t been to in years. This was a big reminder for myself to branch out and try new things.

We had the type of beautiful, golden sunshine that photographers always dream about which was the cherry on top of a perfect session. Kelly and Ryan, thank you again for everything! I can’t wait to do it all again with you this September.
