My favorite bridge in Chicago also happens to be the bridge where it always smells like chocolate. Coincidence? I think not.

Mary and Pat were married late May and we celebrated with a special “newlywed” portrait session a week later. Truth be told, we were hoping to take these photos before the wedding as an engagement session, but weather was not on our side. We finally lucked out with the most beautiful evening and I love how their photos turned out.

These two will be moving to the east coast later this year and they’ve been dreaming about a beautiful piece of framed wall art to take with them that reminds them of home. Naturally, we headed to the lakefront to capture that stunning city skyline while the newlyweds sipped champagne and took in the sunset together.
