Engaged: Jamie + Sam

Is it November yet? Because I’m ready for Jamie and Sam’s wedding day! There aren’t enough words to describe how excited I am to have met these two. If their engagement session is any reflection of how much fun the wedding day will be, we’re definitely off to a good start!

I tried something new this time around: shooting on the Wells Street Bridge. I honestly don’t know why I haven’t used this location yet. It’s been on my radar for years. Shooting across the way on this bridge during rush hour may not have been my best planning ever (next time let’s do a Sunday sunrise session!), but we ended up with the perfect amount of moments with the bridge totally clear of cars or pedestrians. I’m digging the perspective and change of pace.

^^What the bridge looked like 99% of the time (minus all the cars)

^^What the bridge looked like for one perfect split second…and a few more after that. 😉

Afterwards, we migrated south to the Museum of Science and Industry because my girl Jamie loves all things circa Chicago’s World Fair. The facade of this museum is stunning and I’m hoping to use it more this year and next. Would die and go to heaven taking bridal portraits here! Wink wink, nudge nudge.

^^ Love this one in every possible way.

With the lake right there, we obviously had to end over at Promontory Point for some stunning skyline sunset views. It was the perfect way to end the night.

Thank you, Jamie and Sam! Let’s do this again, say November 11? Hope you’re free. 😉
