After 2 years of patiently waiting, Nina and Aubrey *finally* had the wedding of their dreams and it was perfect in every possible way.
Nina and Aubrey live in Texas but returned to Nina’s hometown of Arlington Heights for their celebration. Throughout the day, it was important to them to honor their heritages and traditions while also keeping the celebration modern and romantic.
To keep with tradition, the couple wed at St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights by a longtime friend of the groom’s family. Nina gifted her parents a commissioned painting of her childhood home. At the reception, they honored Nina’s Syrian heritage by having the entire crowd follow them into the ballroom adorned with scarves and canes. It was one of my favorite moments of the entire day.
To keep it modern, they opted to travel downtown for their portraits to capture the city views at sunset. They had a live painter at their reception who painted their first dance. Nina wore a *stunning* chic gown by Hayley Paige.
The Metropolis Ballroom was filled with lush greenery, fluffy florals and candlelight that set the tone for a beautiful evening. Thank you both for having me along for the ride all these years! Your wedding was without a doubt worth the wait.
