Siena and John’s proposal at the Art Institute of Chicago was absolutely magical. Originally from the East Coast, the couple lives in Washington, D.C., but their love story connects deeply to Chicago. During their time in the Windy City, the Art Institute became a special place for them. They visited often, drawn by their shared love for art and culture.

When John decided to propose, he knew Chicago was the perfect place to create an unforgettable moment. He carefully planned a trip back to the city, keeping his intentions a surprise from Siena. To make the proposal more intimate and unique, John went the extra mile. He purchased an Art Institute membership to access the museum during exclusive members-only hours. This very thoughtful decision ensured a quiet, serene atmosphere for their moment. It felt like they were the only people there!

On the proposal day, everything went perfectly. In the soft morning light streaming through the museum’s iconic halls, John got down on one knee and asked Siena to spend her life with him. Overwhelmed with emotion, Siena said yes, and so much joy and happiness radiated between them.

Afterward, I had the honor of following them around as they celebrated and explore the museum together. This Art Institute proposal blended their cherished Chicago memories with the start of a new chapter together.
