I am in love with this engagement session. The Morton Arboretum is, hands down, one of my favorite places in the Chicago area. There is so much peace and beauty to be found amongst the trees and gardens here. I love recommending this setting for engagement photos and wedding portraits. It always takes my breath away! And now that fall is around the corner, can you guys just imagine how picture-perfect it will be?
Sarah and Mitch flew in from Vermont to take their Morton Arboretum engagement photos. They wanted their photos to have a woodsy feel that was reminiscent of the morning hikes they take together. After Sarah showed me a few photos of the settings she loved most, I knew the Arboretum would be perfect for them. We started in the pines, adventuring through trails and meadows as the sun set behind the trees. We ended the session under the most perfect Willow as the final moments of sunshine fleeted away. And get ready to say “Aw” because these two met in the 5th grade and have stood by each other’s side ever since. I am SO looking forward to working with them again next summer at Independence Grove on their wedding day. Thank you both for a delightful evening!
