Northerly Island in Chicago has quickly become a favorite location of mine. It’s in the heart of the city yet it feels like you are in the middle of absolutely no where at the same time.

Lauren and Jeramie wanted to take advantage of all the beautiful fall colors throughout Chicago at the end of October. We lucked out with sunshine and a glorious 70 degree day. After so much cloudy skies and rain this month, it was the perfect day for their engagement session!

We captured a mix of the gardens surrounding the iconic Field Museum, the city skyline views by the Adler Planetarium and then spent the rest of our time exploring the beauty of Northerly Island. Chicago friends, if you haven’t visited Northerly Island, please do! It’s an oasis in the middle of the city and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

I get to work with these two again in the spring for their wedding day and I can’t wait! Thank you both for bringing so much fun, happy energy to your session! Looking forward to doing it all again soon.
