Elegant Backyard Naperville Wedding

After having to replan their wedding three times, Kristine and Topher traded their downtown Chicago wedding plans for a backyard garden party at their recently purchased Naperville home. Trust me, when you take a look at this tent, you won’t believe this was their backyard!

Through the ups and downs of wedding planning in a pandemic, Kristine and Topher remained so steadfast and patient in their love for each other. You can see it in the smiles across their faces in nearly every photo. Their “Plan C” Naperville wedding turned out better than anything either of them could have hoped for.

Highlights of the Wedding

The morning of their wedding, Topher installed a custom sign “The Kings” next to their front door, knowing that today would be the day where they’d finally make it official.

Kristine got ready with her bridesmaids right at home as vendors buzzed around transforming their backyard into the most dreamy garden party venue Naperville has ever seen.

After sharing a private and emotional first look at Hotel Arista, they set out to take photos with their wedding party around downtown Naperville. It was a perfect spring day with lilac bushes fully in bloom, butterflies fluttering around and hardly a cloud in the sky.

Steve’s Flower Market absolutely knocked the ceremony and reception decor out of the park. I’m still dreaming about all of the suspended florals hanging everywhere. It was the ultimate garden party spent with their nearest and dearest.
