Caitlin and Tom’s engagement session at Chicago’s Pendry Hotel was nothing short of romantic and chic. Nestled on Michigan Avenue, The Pendry blends sophistication with classic downtown charm. We captured intimate moments in the stylish restaurant and bar, Venteux. Later, we moved to their suite for cozy shots with champagne and pizza. At dusk, we strolled down Michigan Avenue to embrace the city’s energy and iconic views. Their session was so uniquely Chicago.

I love how personal engagement sessions can be. It’s not just about creating beautiful photos—it’s about capturing a couple’s unique story. Caitlin envisioned a romantic “date night” vibe in the city, and it was perfect for them. They weren’t just posing; they were living in the moment, celebrating this exciting chapter. To make it even more special, they booked a suite at The Pendry for the night. This turned their session into a memory they’ll always treasure.

This shoot is a perfect example of thinking outside the box. Instead of choosing one outdoor spot or a typical setting, Caitlin and Tom picked places that felt meaningful and fun. They clinked champagne glasses in their suite and shared laughs over Papa John’s pizza. Later, they strolled hand-in-hand down Michigan Avenue. Every part of the evening reflected their personalities.
