Kelly and Mike’s wedding story has a special place in my heart. These two are the absolute sweetest and I had been looking forward to their Cafe Brauer wedding for months. As you man of you know, my love for weddings at Cafe Brauer runs deep, especially when LOLA and Stems are at the design helm. It’s been two months and I’m still drooling over the suspended floral piece, candlelit ballroom, and the most magnificent wedding masterpiece ever: the Stan’s Donut Cake.

Their wedding day all began along the lakeshore where Mike first popped the question to Kelly. Seeing each other in this special spot brought their whole love story full circle. It was a cold and misty day, but you can hardly tell by the love all over their faces.

The couple held their traditional ceremony at one of Chicago’s most notable and beautiful churches, Holy Name Cathedral. Afterward, guests gathered at the reception for an evening of dancing, delicious bites, classic cocktails and a fabulous party. Congratulations again Kelly and Mike!
