Just as quickly as my 2019 wedding season ended, my 2020 season began. This wedding was unique and untraditional, yet so timeless and romantic. The wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful Chicago History Museum. Following the ceremony, guests grabbed blankets and hand warmers for a grand recessional on the show stopping back staircase. To say it was cold is an understatement, but you can hardly tell in the photos. A big piper lead the way as guests tossed paper airplanes at the newlyweds. Back inside, guests enjoyed cocktails and cake and watched the couple’s first dance as husband and wife. It was an intimate celebration. After cocktails concluded, guests gathered at il Porcellino (aka my new favorite Italian restaurant!) for a candlelit Italian feast to celebrate the newlyweds. I loved their style and I loved the attention to detail the bride poured into every aspect of the day. Congratulations again to the newlyweds. We loved being a part of your wedding!
